LIFE!!!

So sense my last post! we have done ALOT! We did our engagements, my birthday, our bridals and kam has moved in to our place! its been crazy its all comin together FINALLY!

So for our engagements we went to the middle of town did the alley way and the tabernacle! it was way fun and i love all the pictures i am going to put a few on here! (none that are on the announcements so you can wait for those!)

For my birthday kam had the WHOLE day planned out! he made me breakfast and came and woke me up with it! and then i got ready and we went to the dmv to get a new license sense i turned 21!!! and then he suprised me and we went to zion! i havent been there with him or even in ages! and he had a picnic for me! we walked around for a few hours! then we came home took a nap! and kam had dinner made for me at his house! it was so nice! and then we went and picked out a movie and came back to my house where he had my fam over and kasen and maddy for ice cream and cake!! it was way fun! great job babe thanks!

And our bridals!!!! we dont have them back yet cause we just did them! but we were at the brigham young house and by the pasta factory and social hall! they are going to be amazing! i loved the way she had us pose!

And now Kam moved in!!! YAY its so fun to get it ready! yes he just moved in but to see our sofa and love seat and all our stuff in there is way to fun!!! cant wait til its done and i can actually move in and live there!!!

TOM HANKS IN ST GEORGE!!!

So no joke Tom Hanks was here in St George yesterday! and he stopped at Albertsons! him and his brother are passin thru to go to park city for a relaxing vacation! And yes i got to meet him! he is an awesome guy he stayed out in his car and we went and talked to him and got pictures with him! he didnt get out which didnt surprise us! i wasnt expecting him to jump out for a pic! he said that we could take them by the car! and he would keep talkin! haha! he was way cool tho! we chitchated for like 15-20 min i had to get back to work and didnt want to bug him that much! but yeah there is a fun story to tell the kids in a few years! there is a pic!

NAHA weekend!

So this last weekend on July 19th we went to NAHA! It is North American Hairstyling Awards! I kinda made kam go! But it was a blast he got to see the kind of work that people do just to be creative! People i knew from last year had either students or even won themselves! I have decided that i want to enter next year under colorist of the year! Its going to be way fun and also way stressful waiting for the envelope in the mail! wow it will be crazy! I cant wait Kam even said im behind you 100% if you really want to do this! so i am!!! It was down in vegas so we stayed at Luke and Jess house which is always a blast! wakin up to the boys wantin kam to wake up is so fun! and while i was sitting there talkin to Grant while kam was in the shower Grant said " Kayla Kameron is my best friend!" and kids never lie about that stuff when they are 3 it was so dang cute! here are a few pictures from the award show!

About the DRESS!

Ok so I baught a magazine and I looking around in it and found this dress! the one I just have to have is the collared one! its really unique! says Kam! haha Yes he has seen it! I dont so much believe in those superstitions! haha! its cool if you do but I dont! but it will be a little different! the A-Line will start about the top of my butt! haha so a dropped waist line! its gonna be amazing! I am so excited! and we have started this a week ago today! tell me what you think!

Wedding Dress Has Started!!!!

So yesterday on June 5th I went in to be measured for my dress! she is starting the making of it now and i will have my first fitting in two weeks! YEA I'm so excited for it to be here and done! And yes it is being made for me! The dress that I fell in love with I found in a magizine and we were told that we wouldnt find it anywhere on this side of the U.S. so we just had it made for cheaper than we could have baughten it anyways! I will find a picture and post it and you guys can tell me what you think!

Our History!...

Hey Im Kayla Nelson and I am engaged to an amazing man named Kameron Stowe! We are getting married on October 24, 2008 in the St George Temple! We have kind of a fun history, and some people think we moved fast but we have known each other sense we were in 8th and 9th grade and even had crushes on each other! haha! So about us!

Kameron is going to school here at dixie full time to get his generals done so he can do the rest of his schooling else where... He wants to be a Lawyer! so we have about 5 to 6 years left! YEA! He works full time at Big O tires and enjoys his job! He returned from a mission in November of 2008! He served in the Canada, Halifax mission and cant wait to go back for a visit!

Kayla (me) has graduated from Taylor Andrews Acadmeny of Hair Design in September 2008! I am currently working at Colour Hair and Body spa! I work part time there and am trying to get full time at my other job Albertsons! I love them both! I am staying busy out side of work by planning out wedding! Wow who would have thought it is a crazy thing! I love that too!

Us together are excited to be getting married... its a long ways away but worth the wait! We will be living here in St George for about a year and a half to two years then up to Salt Lake City UT! We have a puppy named Kobe! He is a Yorkie Maltees (i cant spell sorry)! is his only 4 weeks tho but lives at kams house and he is starting him young in the training stuff! I will take pictures soon and post them he is so cute!
